Hi Beagles and Buddies,
My parents Harold and Marsha adopted Marshall, now affectionately known as
Buddy Marshall. I thought it would be funny to have my dad call "Marsh" and
have them both come running... But my mom thought it was best to call him
Buddy instead :)
Here are some pictures taken of him in his new home. As you can tell from
the first picture, my mom said her new favorite thing to do is sit on the
chair, watch tv, and pet Buddy in her lap. We even sing and dance with
him!
Buddy means so much to all of us. He is such a spoiled doggie with five
beds, lots of toys, and even a booster seat for the car so he can look
outside. Everyone in PetSmart knows Buddy and my parents by now :)
It is hard to tell from looking at her, but my mom was diagnosed with Lung
Cancer last November and went through chemo, surgery, radiation, and now
remission. My parents were never dog or animal people, but for the past few
months they started to think about getting a dog to bring some joy to the
house. Buddy exceeded all of our expectations. The love we all have for him
is enormous. He is just the cutest dog in the world. My parents said they
dont need to watch tv, they just watch Buddy. He is even a character when he
sleeps, he sleeps with his legs in the air like I used to do when I was a
kid!
Right now my parents are giving Buddy a lot of TLC. He needs some work with
housetraining and learning his name, but we love working with him and we are
trying to make him feel right at home. My parents are so adorable on how
they dote on Buddy. Thanks again for everything!
-Andrea, Buddy's older sister.
