Nutmeg is doing very well. She has staked out her spot on the big bed and is a real cuddle-bug! She has become great pals with our other older special needs mini-doxie (Gidget) and is a much needed calming influence on Gidget (who's called "Fidget" at times because she gets a little hyper!). Together and individually, they are such a funny pair. Their personalities are very different, but they complement each other.
Nutmeg is becoming quite the protector of the household. As far as she's concerned, only immediate family members (human and non-) belong in the house. Extended family members and friends must pass security with her for each visit!
However calm she usually is, Nutmeg really comes to life at feeding times... for a dog with such short legs and who was a little on the plump side, she can really jump high from a standing position!
The Yee Household would like to thank Beagles and Buddies for the opportunity to have Nutmeg become a most welcomed and loved member of our family.
