Here are some photos of Baxter at his new place. He is adjusting well and really enjoys living on a Golf Course. The first day he got here he barked at all of the Golf Carts that went by, but we quickly reassured him that they were friends. He finds about 2-3 golf balls per day that land in the backyard and happily chews them to pieces. He is getting much better with taking things out of his mouth as we have taught him that it is okay for us to take things from him. He is trying hard to prove to his brother Bogart (rottweiller) that he really is a good guy.
He hardly ever barks, he loves the neighbors and has even ventured into the swimming pool (supervised). He likes to go on walks but is easily distracted by any Rabbit that may run by. He likes to watch movies with his family as long as he can sit on our lap. He has his own Harley Davidson bed next to Mom and his brother sleeps next to Dad. When Bogart is not looking, sometimes he will sneak into his bed. We took him and Bogart to Paradise Ranch Country Club for Dogs for the weekend and he was welcomed with open arms. They take such good care of all dogs and Baxter really enjoyed himself and actually came home a little less hyper. He loves riding on our Golf Cart as he finds this a unique opportunity to see the neighborhood. He is eating well, looks good and really enjoys getting a bath from Dad. He is a welcome addition to our family and Bogart and Baxter can be caught kissing when nobody is looking!
Hope all is well with you guys, we will keep you updated on "Little B" as I am sure we will have a lot more to tell. Take care and we love Baxter very much, thanks again!
