Remember me? You took care of me until I found these folks in Sunland to take me to their home and welcome me into their family.
I had a long ride (35 miles) to my new home on Sunday morning on a very fast road. Then when we got out of the car, I was put on my leash and taken for a walk. Saw lots of new people (and some had their own dogs) and chatted and sniffed and marked lots of new things. Then I went to my new back yard and so that I could mark my territory and rest a bit. My new family got me a bowl with food just like I used to get with you guys, and some doggie treats. They also got me a new bed on which I took an afternoon nap (because I was exhausted from all of the visiting).
They have cats! I love chasing cats. I was told that chasing the cats is not a good thing to do but I just can't help myself sometimes. I know that one of them will soon tire of this and let me know that I can't do the chasing any more, but I am sure having fun while I can.
I am told that I have an appointment with a mobile groomer who is going to bathe me and trim my nails and thoroughly check me out. My new family wants me to be comfortable at home, so they have decided to not take me someplace and drop me off for my grooming. It will be a new experience to have the groomer come to me.
That is all from me today. Thank you for taking such good care of me while I was looking for a family.
