Dear Beagles & Buddies,
Hey there, remember me? My name is Tex and you guys took great care of me for a while in 2003. I just wanted to tell you that I love my new home and family. My best friend is Simon, a yellow lab that my family had before I got there. We play ALL the time. We wrestle and run and chase each other. Simon gets tired a lot sooner than I do, so when he is pooped, I lick his face and ears until he is ready to play again. We have a really big backyard and my mom and dad take us on walks every day, and sometimes we go to the dog park too! I love laying on the deck in the backyard when it is sunny outside. I love to howl/talk to my mom and dad and grandparents as much as possible! They think I'm hilarious!
Over the summer, we went to the dog beach and Simon and I went in the water! I was scared at first, but then my mom went out into the waves and she looked okay, so I followed her. Then we played ball in the water and it was so much fun!
My family is moving to North Carolina in March 2004. I can't wait, because they keep telling me that we'll have ½ an acre to play and run around on. Well, I just wanted to thank you for taking such good care of me until my parents came along and found me. They love me tremendously, and I know that I'll never be without them and can trust them to keep me forever.
