 My name is Mickie and I want to share my story. I'm a dachshund (a.k.a. weiner, hot dog, sausage, etc. to some folks). I came to B&B as the result of a divorce. The man who brought me hit me on the head because I was scared. Imagine that... some people just don't get it! Well, B&B was a safe haven and helped me find a wonderful home where I'm adored and catered to (prerequisites for owning a dachshund, by the way...) I get to come back and visit periodically when my mom is out of town. My sister is Tinkerbell, but I don't want to hear her tooting her horn...lol! Please come save our friends and support B&B's important work! I'm the attractive one in the pix... the black and tan....Love, Mickey
PS: I was named after Jimmy Durante because of my large snout (my mom's memory just isn't what it used to be and she forgot his first name. Actually, I think I'm a Jimmy Durante-Mickey Rooney hybrid..lol!)
